Grading Policy

33% - Class Work, Class Activities, Online Work

The work the students do in class is graded and here they show competency while working in front of the teacher and their peers. Participation is counted in their grade, as they need to be able to participate in class having their materials, being on time and being on task in order to get a good grade. If they don’t have their work, or are late to class, or have a bad attitude, this reflects in their work and therefore in their grade. Some class work and activities are graded according to a rubric; others are graded directly with a percentage.
